Tell us a bit about your shop! 

Our shop is situated in the 13th century part of The Sherborne, a meticulously restored Georgian house. It is a landmark destination for the arts nestled in Sherborne, Dorset.

In keeping with the essence of the house, The Sherborne shop is a curated space filled with handcrafted treasures, seasonal gifts, and everyday indulgences. We showcase the very best of Dorset and the UK, alongside sustainable brands like eatsleepdoodle!

Describe your shop in three words!

If I were to describe the shop in three words they would be vibrant, welcoming and eclectic.

What’s your favourite thing about running a shop?

My favourite thing about running a shop would be the ability to welcome visitors into our beautiful space. It is wonderful to explain the backstory behind our makers and watching our customers discover gifts that they love.

In between the busy moments, what can we find you doing?

In quieter moments I tend to spend my time researching and finding new products. As we are an Arts Venue, I also have the luxury of meeting new artists and working with them to have accessible pieces for sale in the shop.

What's your favourite colour and why?

My favourite colour has to be a bright turquoise blue – I love that it makes me think of summer and the sea!

What’s your favourite eatsleepdoodle product and why?

My favourite eatsleepdoodle product is definitely the butterfly pencil case. It looks amazing when all coloured in and who doesn’t love a fun pencil case?!

What do you and your customers love most about eatsleepdoodle?

I love to see the children’s reaction to eatsleepdoodle products. We always have a bag or a pencil case out by the till so they can have ago at colouring for themselves!

If you could make your own colour in gift, what would it be?

If I had the power to make my own eatsleepdoodle gift, I think colour your own bunting would be fun!
